The dark tower remains (thus far) as one of my favourite series. I've never read anything quite like it and yet I am absolutely immersed in the world Stephen King has built. I'm still amazed how each book can be so different and yet so coherent.
This book, like with most of the books from this series, is not for the faint of heart. With each chapter the world around me became faint as my mind slipped into the world of the dark tower.
These views are starting to read like Zen Philosophy but I think that's because the they both obey the same principle. They cannot be explained, only experienced.
