This book really helped springboard my interest in poetry and has helped me understand the value of finding solace in another feeling the same way you feel - even if you might be separated by oceans and generations.
A lot of the suggested poetry was as a remedy to a certain feeling but I would have liked more poems where the poets validated a feeling.
I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to explore poetry. I certainly jotted down a few poets that I look forward to exploring in more depth.
