I can't give a higher rating than I gave the first book but if I could, this would book would a whole star higher.
For reference, I said this about Hyperion:
"I can say with confidence that this is the best book I've read this year and will be at the end of the year. Given the quality of the books I've read so far, this is rightly a significant accolade."
Absolutely fantastic. Epic scope, phenomenal characters, makes you think about philosophy and ethics within and outwith the book.
I really can't recommend this series highly enough for anyone who needs to do brain day at the gym. By far, one of my favourite series.
