Absolutely fantastic entry to the series. Incrediblely strong characters featuring possibly one of my favourite (female - I comment on their gender purely because strong female characters are under represented in grim dark epic fantasy) fantasy characters.
I would recommend to anyone who's enjoyed Song of Ice and Fire but wanted a bit more Gandalf going postal.
