An absolutely masterpiece by Rilke. I can completely see why it's considered his magnum opus.
Inspite of being translated the poems sound beautiful in English and each sonnet connects on such a deep level. Even though I'm separate by a century, a language and Rilke is discussing Greek mythology it feels like he's speaking to me.
Ironically Rilke's beautiful words have left me lost for my own.
