An absolutely phenomenal book. The pacing is perfect. Slow at the beginning whilst the characters and context are carefully created in preparation for when things go wrong.
It's no secret that I'm big fan of Stephen King's writing so I was expecting to love it but it still exceeded my expectations. I think my resting heart rate has permanently increased by 20bpm.
This books is quite dark and not the faint of heart but I could not recommend it more - if you can stomach it!
